How to view/change Communigate Pro Server postmaster password

CommuniGate Pro (CGP) is a scalable carrier grade email server, unified communications server, true FMC solutions as well as development platform all integrated into one.

To view or change password you need root access.

  • Go to /var/CommuniGate/Accounts/
  • Choose your user (postmaster)
  • Go to {user}.macnt directory for ex: postmaster.macnt
  • View or change passowrd in account.settings

File content look like as:

{
 Password = 123456;
 UseAppPassword = YES;
 WebAdminPrefs = {AdminSkinName=Admin-dash;DisplayCharset=utf-8;ExpertLevel=10;ServerSettings={};};
}
